DR. PETER KASPRZAK, M.D. Medical Director
Dr. Peter Kasprzak, M.D. began his education at the State University of New York, Buffalo where he received a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in 1977. He then went on to receive both a Masters of Science in Engineering and a M.B.A. in Financial Planning in 1979. After several years working in Civil Engineering, Dr. Kasprzak entered the University of Rochester School of Medicine where he received his M.D. Degree in 1988. After serving his internship at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, he completed his residency at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, New York with a specialization in Anesthesia. After relocating to Reno, Dr. Kasprzak joined Sierra Anesthesia, Inc. where he currently practices in conjunction with serving as Medical Director of Quail Surgical Center.

DARREN ROBERTSON, MBA, CASC Administrator
Darren graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors Degree in Management in 1990 and a Master in Business Administration in 1994. Darren began his career in the healthcare field in 1982 at a local hospital where he worked in various roles from Finance to Nursing. In 1998, he accepted the position as Administrator for Quail Surgical & Pain Management Center.

VALERIE OXHORN, R.N., MSN, CASC Director of Nursing
Valerie graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1981 and a Masters in Nursing in 1992. She began her nursing career as an operating room nurse at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada. She then served as Director of Surgical Services then as Director of Nursing at Northern Nevada Medical Center. Valerie's experience and passion for nursing, especially surgical nursing, made her the perfect choice for Director of Nursing at Quail Surgical Center.
